Thank you for the information I have added it at
www.angelfire.com/ar/pyeatt/cw.html please check for any inaccuracies.
I did have to cringe at one piece of information. I am researching a
Benjamin Pyeatt (possibly of St. Louis Co, MO) who was a son of John Pyeatt
who died c1827 in Jefferson Co, MO. The only info that I have on this son is
that he was the third born c1797 near Meramac Settlement, Jefferson/St Louis
County, MO; that he administered his father's estate from 1827-1834; that he
did not have a wife in 1845 when he sold his share of his father's estate
along with most his siblings; that all of the parties who sold their
property in 1845 lived in Ste. Genevieve, St. Louis or Jefferson County, MO.
I do not find him on any census. So, it is disheartening to know that if and
when I DO find a Benjamin in some records - he could very well be YOUR
Benjamin. Could you let me know what you know about your Benjamin in St.
Louis Co to help me avert repeating your research? Thanks, Marianne
