Let's give a hurrah for trips - fun ones and other kinds!
Now, how do you know that Bertha F. and Walter McLean were married in Canada?
I just got their death certificates and was surprised to find that Walter
was Canadian Also her death certificate says that she was born in Des
Moines, IA and not in Indiana where her two older brothers were born. They
lived most of their lives in or near Santa Rosa, CA - just a few miles from
the Piatt family home in Healdsburg.
So, we still don't know much about David - though we're getting closer.
Hope you're enjoying at least some of those trips. Rumor has it that we'll
be gathering for the next Piatt reunion up in your territory.
