The family of John Piatt, erroneously called "John of France" and Frances
Van Vliet Wyckoff Piatt was covered extensively in Volume 7 of the Piatt
Family Newsletter, 1992. The newsletter is available from me for original
subscription cost. It is also available at the DAR library in Washington
DC, the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne IN, and the Filson Club
in Louisville KY as well as a few other libraries.

A descendant of this line, N Louise Lodge, published "Everybody's Ancestry"
about 1917. She died about 1934 and is buried in Covington KY. We have
looked for her papers without success to this point. Do you have any idea
if her research papers were preserved?
