Information on Charles W Piatt of Delaware Co Oh is sketchy, but here's what I have:

CHARLES W and SUSIE had at least two children: HARRY C b 6 Oct 1879 and HAZEL b?

A personal history of WILLIAM S PIATT in _History of Delaware Co OH_ by O L
Baskins and Co, 1880, states that WILLIAM S PIATT was the seventh son of JAMES
and MARY DONAHUE PIATT.

JAMES and MARY DONAHUE PIATT went on to Bartholomew Co IN for a while, then to
Jasper Co IN (or at least owned land there) and finally to Clinton Co IN.
They and some of the family are buried in a cemetery near Kirklin, Clinton Co
IN. Also among the family burial plots there is a stone set for CLAUDIUS
PIATT, veteran of the War of 1812. The stone is a military marker. If anyone
can shed light on this Claudius and his connection to these Piatts, it would
be appreciated. Any suggestions about tracing a paper trail on the
acquisition of this military marker would be appreciated.

Census records show that JAMES PIATT was born in NJ but the link from him back
to RENE has yet to be established.
