Hi list, I was reading some of my items I brought back from a
research-vacation in IL. and WI. this summer. I have been adding to my pc
records a page at a time as I find time. Last night I found these pages
which I had come across in a library while I was searching for my Piatts.
They very well and most likely are related to the Piatts in my grd mother's
family.
BUT, I have done the most unforgivable sin! I forgot to write where I found
them! It must have been one of the nights that I ran across info just
before the library was closing...maybe you can idenify the area from the
river listed, it is '' SANGAMON''. I only searched in Rockford IL. and
Janesville WI. .So These people would have lived near.

December 1850 ( A Censes) This may have been for the city's of Janesville
WI. or Rockford IL. ?

a Moses PIATT from VIR. I need to locate more info on . I had made an
earlier quiery on the list. He was the father of my 2nd grt grd mother. He
