I just got new info on Catherine J. Piatt and her 2nd husband Manna Stearns.

the book Stones & Sites of Cedar County, Iowa, page 261; and from Cedar
County Iowa Cemetery Records, page 305 found online at ancestry.com.
d: 14 Jan 1886 (not sure where yet, but will try checking newspapers first)
as Catharine J. Stearns.

Manna Stearns
b. 16 Nov 1806 - Stones & Sites of Cedar County, Iowa, page 261; and from
Cedar County Iowa Cemetery Records, page 305 found online at ancestry.com.
d. 02 Mar 1877 - (Age at death per tombstone 70yr 3mo 16da) Stones & Sites
of Cedar County, Iowa, page 261; and from Cedar County Iowa Cemetery Records,
page 305 found online at ancestry.com.

Both Catherine and Manna are buried in Bethel/Sand Hill Cemetery in Center
Twp., Cedar County, IA. - From Stones & Sites of Cedar County, Iowa, page
261; and from Cedar County Iowa Cemetery Records, page 305 found online at
ancestry.com.

Maybe with luck I will run across their marriage license one of these years.
