I will check with my source and see if this should read "thought to be the
son of". I think it is helpful to others to at least know that there is a
possibility that someone has hit upon a likely connection. One thing that I
like about the webpage is that I can put as much info in these as I want. I
can add a few paragraphs that tell why you think that Benjamin is the father
along with sources, etc. On my own Family Tree Maker program, in the notes
section, I put ALL of the details. I put the entire death certificate,
obituary, land records, bible records, marriage license, important estate
file records, physical description, personality traits, medical info etc.
And, on the head of household, I list the census abstract exactly as it
appears. This way, I don't have to go back to my originals every time a new
question is raised and if I need to refresh my memory it is just a click
away. So, if I were to send you a GedCom of my line, you would see where
every bit of my information came from (I try to cite any people or books
that as use that aren't originals in my possession). So, when I get someone
else's file that doesn't have all the 'gory details' so to speak, I'm always
a little disappointed. Wow, guess I got off the subject and just started
rambling! But, hate to delete this after keying it all in :) So, I'll see
what I can find out about Benjamin. MCP
