We have tried for years to find a connection to the 'Cane Hill Pyeatts' as
we call them, due to proximity and other connections. However, I have a
manuscript which supposedly shows the descendants of John and Martha with no
John listed. In fact, no one has provided me with a John from these lines
that is known to have existed. Any idea if someone has John's will or estate
file from 16 Aug 1780 (or bef May 1778 Guilford Co, NC) which are the dates
that I have for John's death (one says killed in action in Camden). Or,
Martha's will - I don't have a date for her. If John had a son John who died
c1827, he would have been listed as an heir at that time or possibly when
Martha died if before 1827. Thanks, Marianne
