I enjoy the Pyatt list even though my Pyatt line isn't that long. I
noted that Barbara Maybury wrote that I had submitted a list of Pyatt
Martin's children to Lou Mohler for one of her books. Indeed I did but at
that time, that list wasn't proved. I later found a land record in Marion
County, OH that did list all of Pyatt's children including the spouses of
some of them.
If memory is correct, there were a couple of differences. I have just
moved and all my genealogy records are still in boxes so I don't have
immediate access to them but if anyone is interested I will eventually be
able to access the exact info to find those land records; contact me at

Thanks to Caral Bennett for including the wonderful story about Anna Hoagland
riding on horseback back to NJ after Pyatt died supposedly to settle up
Pyatt's affairs (in the early 1800's yet!). I grew up on that story and "got
into" genealogy to find out more about just that. I've found file cabinets
full of other stuff but have not found out anything else of significance
about that trip. Keep hoping someone else will find something somewhere.
