ROBERT L PIATT married CATHERINE CANBY, 10 Jun 1852, Cincinnati OH, by Rev Mr Mitchell.

The volume and page of the Hamilton Co OH marriage record are not given but
should not be hard to find in a well indexed courthouse. There is a notation
in PFN questioning if Robert L Piatt had married first to a Launa _____.

Carol is to be commended not only for restoring Dr Lewis Piatt's house, but
also for wanting to know more of the people who lived there. There might be a
place in the house for a copy of the marriage certificate of Dr Lewis's
parents if it can be located in Cincinnati!

[Again, sorry to take list space for a personal note, but I wanted to thank
the many who send warm wishes and kind words concerning my family's medical
problems. Ed got the OK to drive from his doctor yesterday. He is making a
remarkable recovery. My mother went home today, much improved, and a few days
a home will make her even better, I'm sure.]
