Did you ever hear of the Piatt's Castles, in Ohio? They sent us a paper
and ad on buying a book on the Piatt's, which I'm sorry to say at the
time we did not get. This is a long time ago. My Piatt family is from
Shickshinny, Town Hill, I was born in Luzerne county, Pa. The story is
Three hundred years ago,the Piatt family came to North America from
Dauphine in southern France. By 1690, John Piatt settled in Penna and
raised five sons, sorry thought it was three, had to go back and look it
up. Jacob,Benjamin,Donn,William, are the only Piatts listed in the
story, Elizabeth is married to Benjamin and Ella who is married to
Jacob. It's a story on how the Piatts Castle got started in Ohio.
