For Roy Appleton, David Lodge, Laverne,
Yes, I too, have a copy of The Tribe of Jacob Piatt.
The other publication was Everybodys Ancestry and was a small magazine and
was not confined to the "Piatt" name. It was only printed, I believe, four
magazines.
The date of death on her tombstone was 12 March 1939.
Before the death or right after N. Louise Lodge's death, the balance of her
books The Tribe of Jacob Piatt was given to Catherine Lodge. I believe this
name is correct and she was I believe a niece to N. Louise Lodge. I have a
letter somewhere in my files to confirm this and will try to find it. The
niece was trying to sell the balance of the books. Whether she received the
papers, etc., before or after N. Louise's death I am not sure but if I can
turn up the file it might shed some more light on the matter.
