I have just received in the mail the marriage certificate for Allen Piatt and
Elizabeth A. Rogers (Nov. 27, 1862)**,. They were married in Henry Co.,Ill.,
rather than in Rock Island Co., IL.
Allen - born Nov. 17, 1826, parents: Jacob Piatt and Jane Thompson.
Elizabeth - born April 27, 1841, parents: Elijah Rogers and Nancy Beach.

Thanks to Lynn Whitson Risner for putting me onto the correct county, thus
enabling me to obtain the marriage record!!

I am still looking for the following information and thought that I would put
in on the Digest again:
Information regarding Benjamin Franklin Piatt and Nettie M. Outhier.
Benjamin - b. March 17, 1872, somewhere in Iowa. Parents: Allen Piatt and
Elizabeth Rogers. Benjamin died in Fresno, CA.
Nettie: b. April 6, 1879, somewhere in Iowa. Parents: Amile Outhier and
Marion Morrison.*** Nettie died in Fresno, CA.
I would like to know the counties in Iowa where Benjamin and Nettie were
born, as well as where they were married - probably in Iowa.
As suggested by Lynn, I am looking at Dallas Co. in Iowa for the possible
birthplace of Benjamin, as Allen Piatt appears there in the 1870 Iowa census.
Have not been successful so far.

***I was able to obtain the death certificates for Amile Outhier and Marion
Morrison - again, thanks to Lynn Whitson Risner.
