Hi, Ed, The world was pretty small in the early days and there wasn't a
large pool of possible spouses to choose from. In my line I have some
cousins marrying:
Robert Piatt (1830-1883) s/o John of Daniel of John of Jacob of Regnier m.
his cousin Catherine Canby (1828-1888) d/o of Robert of Daniel of John of
Jacob of Regnier; they were the parents of my great-grandfather Dr. Louis H.
