I am new to list and am researching my husband's line PIATT. Husband's father: Thomas Lester Piatt b. 1893 Belmont County, Ohio to John Nelson Piatt and Tacey Jane Blackledge Piatt. John's death certificate states dob 1850, tombstone has 1846. There is a GAR marker on the grave site. On John's death certificate father is listed as William Piatt b Ohio and his mother is Mary Keen b. Ohio. This is all the info I have. Not easy doing research from deep south but Historical Society in Columbus great help.

Any info or guidance would be appreciated. Carolyn
