No, I do not know if he existed, I'm
just offering a suggestion, based on
your comment about 2, maybe 3 Williams.
That, plus our experience with many
misspellings, just made it seem like
a reasonable possibility. Sorry that
I can't give you anything more
substantial, but it looks like a possible
way out of the puzzle of 'Peepyatt'.
Goodness knows, we've seen stranger
things than this in dealing with our
name.
