For Carolyn in the deep south,

Well, there is plenty of variance in the birthdate given for the person who
might be JOHN NELSON PIATT: "about 1855," 26 Sep 1850, and 1846. Do you have
any census records for him with his wife and children? Census records might
help narrow the possibilities. In my husband's line there is incorrect
information on a death certificate (a Piatt) and an incorrect date on a
tombstone (not a Piatt, imagine that).

Where is JOHN NELSON PIATT buried? And where did he live in OH? You might
also post the ten children of JOHN NELSON PIATT and TACY JANE to the list. At
one time there were descendants of WILLIAM PIATT and PRECIOUS KEENE/ELLA BROWN
on the list and one of them might spot something familiar.
