18th ANNUAL PIATT RESEARCHERS CONFERENCE

The 2002 Piatt Conference will be held from June 23rd to the 29th in Fort
Wayne, Indiana. Taylor University will charge only $12.50 per person per
night for double occupancy rooms in Houser Hall. There will be no problem
with steps; but, because the building is not air conditioned, you may want to
bring a fan. Blankets and pillows are furnished. Linen packets are
available for an additional 50¢ per person per night. However, you may
decide to bring your own sheets and larger, softer towels. There are laundry
facilities on the premises; and, for our evening meetings, a conference room
will be provided.

The university is conveniently located ten minutes from Allen County Public
Library and its famous Genealogy Department. Several restaurants are within
easy driving distance. Researchers who choose not to stay in the dorm can
find small, clean, comfortable, and moderately priced motel rooms only a few
minutes away.
