I just received some information I sent for from the Greenwood Co. Historical Society in Eureka Kansas. Their e-mail is .

I wrote because I was contracted by a volunter who offered to send me the copies. Bless her heart!.
The name is Noah Noble PIATT family. I received a few copies of pictures( In fact Frank Piatt resembles my grd mother Bessie Williams whose mother was Florence Armfield and her mother Elizabeth Hannah PIATT. Eliz was known as Hannah. Also a picture of Noah and wife Olive Bryden. A couple of obits for Philip Piatt and a brief history of the family. Is anyone related to these PIATTs from Kansas? I (think) Frank and Noah were twins and were born in Indiana.

If anyone would like...I will type it on the list?

I have been searching for my 3rd grt grd mothers parents. A distant cousin remembers them as Moses PIATT and Jane SMITH from West or just Virginia. Eliz. hannah Piatt was born in1828, Ohio. I beleive Canton, hamilton Co. I so far have not had any more clues, so I remembered that my grt grd mother, had her youngest son , in Kansas, the only one to be born there. It made me think that JUST maybe she went where her mother was at the time to have this baby? So I checked it out and came accross this info.

Does anyone have anything to add? Sad thing is that I still haven't discovered anything new!
