Thanks to Pete Keefer for his posting mentioning the Piatt Researchers
Conference (this year the last week in June in Fort Wayne IN) and the Piatt
Family Newsletter, but, alas, he gives me more credit than I'm entitled to.
This year the Lauers of Fort Wayne graciously offered to make arrangements for
the conference and information can be obtained from Beth Lauer at:



Currently there is no Piatt Family Newsletter being published but Lynn White
sent me the masters before her death with the understanding that I furnish
volumes at original subscription price for who ever wanted to order them.

However, the Lauers of Fort Wayne are presently publishing the Piatt Family
Photogravure, a publication devoted to extending the Piatt Family Newsletter
by publishing photos of Piatts and their descendants. Whenever possible,
references to PFN are cited in PFP. Today with the ease of having photos
copied please consider making copies of your Piatt photographs and submitting
them for publication in PFP. (Your copies can be returned to you and then you
will have some to display while protecting the originals in archival sleeves
and in the dark.) You can get information on how to submit your photos also
from Beth Lauer whose e-mail address is cited above.
