In composing other responses concerning the line of Abraham and Annabelle Andrew Piatt, I was reminded there there is also an Ohio town called Hamilton, county seat of Butler Co OH which borders Hamilton Co OH (Cincinnati). So that also could be part of the confusion. The Piatts in Butler Co OH, however, were mostly from the line of Abraham, one of the Five Revolutionary Brothers, and not closely connected to that of Moses Piatt.

Keep digging. Try for that marriage record in Noblesville soon.
