Laverne, Listers--

It's going to be a HUGE project indeed--and I will need lots of submissions from
this list.

I will consider ALL link submissions. Like Cyndi Howells (my personal idol, next to
Laverne and Dick *grin*) I will review each link before listing it and include a
brief description so the navigation will be easier. If anyone has a website to
submit, please send it to me at . Once the page is up, you will be
able to submit to . Members may also get private email
forwarding from their for a small yearly fee if desired.

As for posting scanned images and text, absolutely. It would be my greatest
pleasure to add digital text of out of copyright or with permission books and paper.
If anyone has anything like that I can accept scanned images and convert them or I
can scan them in myself if you will loan me the text. I will check on the ability
to add 'post-its'--that still a bit out of my league! I currently have the index
and first three years of PFN and with Laverne's permission will add the digital
version at some point. Over time I will be purchasing the rest of the volumes as
well. I also have Mr. Kearney's charts (thanks to Jo Lauer) and my husband is
working on a way to put those online as well providing it's not a copyright issue.

I also will be including a way to purchase hard copies of PFN, Kearney's Charts, and
past/future issues of the Photogravure (ok I know that is spelled VERY wrong...Beth
please correct me!)

A section on the history of the research would be AWESOME...any volunteers? If
someone will research and write it and email it to me I can easily add it to the
site.

I want to make sure that everyone knows that while I will be driving the website,
all Piatt researchers will be the road it travels--I will be VERY MUCH in need of
submitted materials.

Right now, the site/databases will be free. If (God Forbid!) we need other server
space then we will have to look at funding sources. Perhaps a grant? I truly want
this to be a free site.

Thanks Laverne for your input!
