For Anita,

We had about 20 at the last Piatt conference when we met
in Fort Wayne a few weeks ago. There is no limit to the
number of people who can attend. The more the merrier. I
had great fun researching in the counties near Fort Wayne
this time. I found some very interesting information
about some Piatts I never knew about before. One was a
prosperous farmer and the other, well, a blacksheep. They
were from "separate" lines, that is not brothers or first
cousins. Both made spectacular headlines. The minutes of
the evening meetings at the conference are usually posted
to the list and they will tell what others did.
