To all who wrote about this Piatt:

Rather than answer each person separately, I answer the following.

I have received the reference on the Donegal Presbytery (it's a set of
books) and will report any findings after I return from SLC in late August.
Wish me luck. My descent from Jacob Piatt is through his son Thomas and
Catherine Bell; Mary Piatt and Joseph Hildreth; Ruth Hildreth and John
McCleary, etc. I believe I sent something in to the old Piatt newsletter on
this family.

If anyone knows anything about the death of the above Thomas, please let me
know. I have been told that he left Richland County, Ohio and went to
Indiana or Illinois with one of his sons, but have no confirmation of time
and place of death.
