Loisbon (?), Indiana

WALTER BURTON PIATT and EVELYN BELLE AYRES were married June 30, 1896, at
Huntington, Indiana

DONALD AYRES PIATT, born Oct. 22, 1898 at Huntington IN.

CHARLES COLLETT PIATT was born on the 26th day of Nov. 1867, in LaGrange,
IN.

CLAUDIA BLANCH PIATT was born on the 21 day of June, 1872, in LaGrange, IN.

Claudia Blanch Piatt died March 29th 1874 at LaGrange, In.
(2nd Corinthianes 17&18)

Isaiah Piatt died August 10, 1891 at LaGrange, IN.
Mary Parry Piatt died Jan. 7, 1927. age 83 yrs. 7 months and 14 days.

Walter Burton Piatt aged 76 years- Born in LaGrange In. Aug 10, 1866 died at
his home in FT. Wayne, IN. Oct.22, 1942

Evelyn Ayres Piatt born in Huntington Sept 9, 1869

This is all that is written in the bible. but there is a hand written part
of a letter, looks like the person was of german heritage with his writing,
and the subject is Thomas Carlyle a distinguished British ,(?can't quite
read the word, looks like) essaist philosapher' and author was born in
Scotland in the year 1795..............

I will continue the rest tomorrow, this person above must be a relative?
There is a couple of newspaper clippings and a typed small family tree of
the Taylors.

The bible has a an aroma of an old pipe or cigars. I like to imagine that
just maybe it was kept in the library of our ancestors, and the pipe or
cigar smell was from the gathering of the family men after dinner!

Anyone out there connect to this family?
I kind of think that my Moses PIATT and Isaiah PIATT may have been brothers?
I'd give anything to find something(records on my Elizabeth hannah Piatt)
