I took a trip to WA to visit friends and so I rolled my genealogy search for
my PIATTS into the trip. I stopped in Portland, went to the state building,
I had found the directions from the OR. state page.
A lady by the name of Joanne Hill was a wonderfull help! She went the extra
mile and helped me gather vitals.
This is what I found:
Death cert: # 185 for Hannah Armfied. ( her correct full name was ELIZABETH
HANNAH PIATT ARMFIELD)
DIED: Dec. 27, 1914, in Portland, Multnomah Co. OR.
age: 86, 4 months, 27 days
cause of death: Chronic endocardtices
Buried: Dec 29, 1914 at Rose City Cemetery
place of residence: 994 E. 18th St. N.
Length of residence: 7 months

date of birth: July 31 1828,
Birthplace: OHIO
Father: MOSES PIATT
B/P of father: Virginia
Mother: Jane Smith
B/P of mother: Virginia

Could Moses and Jane Smith be related to the other Piatt and Smith couple in
