For Ron and all interested parties,
It has been a little while since my writing to you Ron and since the email
from scientist_guy, I thought I better write you again.
I see he states Daniel II, is there a reason for this? The reason I ask is
because there were four (4) Daniel's up around there at the same time, all
with close dates of birth. To my knowledge, Daniel of your line has not been
linked yet regarding parentage, even though I do have some ideas.
Your Daniel was not born 1795, he was born May 21, 1797. This is proved by
census records after the 1850 census. If we can believe the death record of
Daniel, and I feel confident we can, then he died March 26, 1881, near aged
84 years.
Mentioned also is that Daniel married secondly, Asseneith KERR, and I do
believe it should be KNOX. As a matter of fact, it could actually be
Asseneith (Knox) Barber.
Any comments or questions would be appreciated.
Richard O. Piatt, PA. (Dick)
