I am looking for information on two members of the Piatt Family:

1. James Wallace Piatt, born Feb. 1850 in Pennsylvania. He died in Miami,
FL at an unknown date. Much of his life was spent in Pittsburgh where he
operated Piatt's Restaurant and Saloon at 248 Fifth Ave.

James was married at least 3 times. He married Lizza McLaughlin (which was
mis-spelled in the 1880 census as "McGlochland"). They had one one by the
name of John Newell Piatt (b: Jan. 1874 in Pittsburgh). James was also
married to a Francis Cecilia Overfield and they had one daughter by the name
of Eulalie Mae Piatt (b: 28 Sept. 1879). He was lastly married to Mary A.
Kerns.

2. John Newell Piatt, born Jan. 1874 in Pittsburgh. John at at least two
wives, including Nella Moriarty (b: Oct. 1874 in Conn. and died in 1951 in
Mt. Lebanon, PA). They had one daughter named Helen Virginia Piatt (b. 12
Jan 1897 in Pittsburgh and died 2 Dec. 1962 in Mt. Lebanon, PA). Children
from another of John's marriages, presumably to a "Mary" (surname
unknown)include: James Piatt, Owner of Piatt's Inn in Meadeville, PA, SSN
#163-16-1822, Born 30 Jan 1915, Died May 1976, West Palm Beach, FL William
Piatt, of Ft. Lauderdale, Broward Co. FL SSN #163-16-1823, Born 15 Apr.
1916, Died Aug. 1987 and Betty Piatt. I have no further information on any
of these children.
