Ok so from the mailing list archives I pulled a copy of the will of James
Piatt born 1704, son of Jacob and Mary Hull Piatt. In his will he lists
Son James, Son Ebenezer, Grandsons John and Asher (sons of Ebenezer) and
Granddaughter Rachel (also of Ebenezer), Then it goes on to say "I give the
money to my four children, and my grandchildren, children of Mary Williamson
that is to say to my son Ebenezer, on share, and to my daughter Experience
Martin, Wife of Humphrey Martin E 2 lb and 9 Shillings less than one share;
and to Mercy Williamson, wife of William Williamson, 1 lb and 12 Shillings
less than one share. And to Jean Munday, wife of Abraham Munday on share
and to all the children of Mary Williamson, wife of Daniel Williamson 15 lb
and 5 shillings less than one share.

Can someone please sort out the relationships here? I read it as

Jacob and Mary Hull Piatt had
James who had

James Jr
Ebenezer (who had kids John, Asher and Rachel)
Experience Piatt Martin
Mercy Piatt Williamson
Jean Piatt Munday
Mary Piatt Williamson

But the will specifically says his four children....help?
