Hi researchers!

Just wanted to pass along that we have officially booked our dinner cruise
in Richmond for June 25, 2003. I got the cost down from $50 to $40, and
that will include salad, buffet (choices are beef, chicken, seafood, or
vegetarian, with side dishes as well as coffee and tea) and dessert. The
capacity of the boat is 250 so we won't be alone, but we will be seated
together. There is a dj and dancing, as well as "audience participation
games" and a lovely deck for quiet times. We will board at 6:30 and cruise
from 7-9:30 with light narration throughout.

You will be responsible for any soda pop or drinks, as well as any gratuity
for your server, but coffee and tea are free. The $40 covers everything but
that (including tax). I really think this is very reasonable and hope you
will consider signing up for this part of the conference.

Due to the times I have to have the deposit in, I will be moving the
registration deadline to May 1, 2003. As soon as I get the contract from
VCU I will begin taking reservations.
