DIED,

At the U.S. Hospital, Pittsburgh Landing, Tennessee, WILLIAM PIATT, formerly
of this county, of Typhoid fever, aged 21 years, 10 months, and three days.
He was a member of the Eleventh Illinois Cavalry, was a member of the M. E.
Church, and died a christian. M.K.

Interesting that this William was from Greene Co PA but enlisted in an Illinois
unit. Presumably his church was in Greene Co PA since it is mentioned in the
local newspaper. And presumably he is buried in Tennessee. Corrections to these
assumptions are welcome.
