Plans are final and registration has begun (I've already recieved
reservations and payment!) Please visit the website at www.piattresearchers
net and click on the Research Conferences option for full details. You can
register online and pay with a credit card via PayPal or choose the print
option for a form to print and fill out to send via mail with check or money
order. Even though I live in Canada, the account is set up for US funds so
there's no worry about conversion rates.

I have reserved space for a limited number, but that number can be increased
so if you know someone who wants to take advantage of this inexpensive way
to see Richmond, please feel free to pass along information. I will need to
know what they will be attending (whether to count them for the cruise,
classes, etc) when they register.

I'm quite excited about the addition of short classes this year. I will be
teaching the basics of Richmond resources (what you are likely to have
access to, ets) on Sunday night, Laverne will be teaching a course on our
DNA project and how DNA evidence will be aiding genealogy research in
general, someone (hopefully Dick Piatt) will be teaching a course that
covers general information on the Piatt lines, and....(drumroll please...)
Sherolynn Pyeatt from the LDS will be teaching on Brick Walls. Please feel
free to send information on your brick walls to
well in advance of the conference so Sherolynn can do a little preliminary
work. These are FREE courses and only last about 45 minutes as a prelude to
our regular nightly meetings.

We are off to a great start so far, so please get your registrations in
early. While I may be able to add a few people over our reserved amount,
spaces are limited and will be filled first come first serve.
