Our family still claims Mary Elizabeth as the sister of Benjamin F. Piatt of
Shelby & Bartholomew Co., IN. She was born in 1805 in VA, died in 1885
Nicholas Co., VA. Eleanor White published Daisy Warner's letters in the
Piatt Newsletter. Gr. Aunt Daisy always referred to her as Benjamin's
sister. I have been reviewing films, namely deeds of Nicholas Co., and keep
hoping I will finally find something positive that will prove she was
Benjamin's sister.
