Good work, Dee, keep digging. If all proves out correctly Mary Elizabeth Pyatt
Ward would be a sister to Benjamin F Piatt, son of William Peatt and first wife.
Aunt Daisy's letter said her grandather Benjamin Piatt left home [(W)VA] because
of his step-mother (Mary Smith Peatt?) and went to IN. Presumably he linked up
with his uncle(s) there or else he was just really lucky to find other Piatts
already in Bartholomew Co IN.
