Anita,

There are also Pyeatt's living in Oregon in 1930. The Pyeatt's are from
the Arkansas branch of the family (the New Jersey/Pennsylvania links are
Rene, Jacob, Jacob, John/Jane Blair who went to North Carolina & then
their children moved into Kentucky & on into Arkansas). I can't
remember if there were any Pyatt's there in the 1920 census, but
anything is possible.

As I recall, my great-grandfather died in 1929 & my grandparents may
have been in California, since my grandfather was in the merchant
marine. He only had 2 brothers who survived to adulthood & lots of
sisters.

I'm assuming that the census takers would have spelled their names
correctly.
