Thank you for the information, I've been trying so much to search all historical data of census, births, deaths, etc to locate information concerning my great grandfather John H. Piatt, he is the Father to my grandmother Srildia E Piatt born 06/26/1909 Died 11/28/1942 at the early age of 33 years, due to serious illness. Srildia was married to my grandfather Arnold W Conway, born 04/12/1904 Died 08/10/1983. They were both buried in the Conway Cem., on Big Creek, close to Rat, Missouri, possibly Shannon Co, or Reynolds Co., MO. My records show that possible a Samuel Piatt was the father of John H.Piatt, but have no information to verify. Have verified John H. Piatt and his wife Alice, along with 10 year old daughter, Srildia were farmers and lived in Shannon Co., MO. this info was obtained from the 1920 census in the township of "Newton" in the County of Shannon, Missouri. upon the same 1920 census, a James Piatt, age 34 w/wife Maggie and daughter laura is listed and a Samuel!
Piatt, age 60 w/wife Frances, along w/grandson Smith Pleasant listed, and a Frank Piatt, age 26 w/wife Elizabeth, son Mcdonel age 7, daughter Sindia, age 6, listed. I am trying to put all this information together, and feel there is a blood relationship between these Piatts on that census. Cannot locate SSnd for Srildia nor marriage records.
