hi folks--I know there are some of you who are researching a line of Pyatts
that links back to the Mayflower White family. One of my projects has been
to finish this and make application to the society on our family's behalf.

I have recieved word today that they will not accept our line because the
will of Jonathan White (son of Peregrine, who was born on the Mayflower)
does not name a son Alexander (which our line decends from) and no other
proof can be located.Roscoe R. White's book (White Family Record), 1939
claims that Alexander was Jonathan's son however proof of this relationship
has never been found.
