I just have to jump in this discussion. My g.g.g.grandfather was Pyatt
Martin b. 1773 in Piscataway, NJ. His Father was Jacob Martin and Jacob's
mother was Dinah Pyatt. So, Pyatt Martin as a given name has been used for a
couple of centuries at least.
I know Laverne is familiar with his name and we have discussed this in
the past (via email!)
