We always have to be suspicious of any name that looks like it could be a
misreading or misspelling of Piatt/Pyatt. But in the case of Bartholomew Fryatt
he really was a Fryatt and his information can be found at:

He will be your first hit.

One of his children, Rosanna, is listed as having connections to Washington Co VA
and Washington Co PA. I believe the PA is a typo as the town of Abington
mentioned is the county seat of Washington Co VA. Some desdendants went to
Pickaway Co OH on to Cerro Gordo IL in -- guess what-- Piatt Co IL.
