*argh* Ok. Thanks Laverne. I guess I was hoping that someone would tell me
they've researched this and found no-one listed as named FRyatt closer than
that last couple of generations. If that were the case we could assume
transcription error that was accepted by other researchers. Like our
Bartholomew, sources on this one seem pretty limited.
Ive never had such as solid brick wall as my William.
Thanks for clarifying him! (I think)

For Robin,
We always have to be suspicious of any name that looks like it could be a
misreading or misspelling of Piatt/Pyatt. But in the case of Bartholomew
Fryatt
he really was a Fryatt and his information can be found at:
http://www.familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/g/ r/i/Allan-Griffith/FILE/
0039page.html
That's a long link that has to be pasted back together in your URL search
line.
If you can't get the link to work just do a google search for bartholomew
fryatt.
He will be your first hit.
One of his children, Rosanna, is listed as having connections to Washington
Co VA
and Washington Co PA. I believe the PA is a typo as the town of Abington
mentioned is the county seat of Washington Co VA. Some desdendants went to
Pickaway Co OH on to Cerro Gordo IL in -- guess what-- Piatt Co IL.
