Thanks Liz for the information. Interesting that Rene would pick Piat as a new
name. I wonder if he was particularly pious in as in the nomitive form or if
the name comes from pieux mensonge which is a white lie. Your magpie theory
might be true as well. I translated this. Please excuse any mistakes, I am a
bit rusty.
