While we have been on the subject of the above name, can anybody identify the
one from the following?

Simeon Piatt died August 1880, aged 28 years, cause of death, kicked by a
mule.
Simeon was born in West Virginia and his parents were both born in VA.
Simeon lived for 8 years in Gallia County, OHIO.
