Although it hasnt been updated in at least a month, the piattresearchers
net site continues to blossom. We have just reached 1000 visits (it doesnt
count multiple visits from the same computer in a 24 hour period) and are
halfway to the award (only 50 votes to go!)

I just wanted to say a hearty thanks for everything that you folks do to
contribute. The research, articles, scanned images, moral support, whatever
it is that you do does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

The site is less than a year old and has grown at an amazing rate. The
census information gets updated fairly regularly, and plans are nearing
completion for the addition of Julia Steele's work/memoirs and an article on
the Saskatchewan Piatt's.

Mostly I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for your support in
this project.
