Piatts,
As Laverne pointed out, I've just discovered that I probably tie into
the Piatts. I'm pretty sure that each of you will not want to see our
correspondence on our bunch unless you descend from them. If any of you
descend from our bunch, e:mail Laverne or myself, tell us how you tie in &
we'll include you in our e:mails. This may be old news, but in case it
isn't, I've found a book on the Piatts that may answer some questions for
you.

Rene' Piat (d. 1705) immigrated from France to N. J.. His descendents moved
to Md., Va. & midwest.

I could see from your GenForum post that you were the person that knew
about Jacob & Eliz's. bunch. Would you e:mail me direct as I'd like to
start corresponding with you ? Can you answer a few ques. for me to get us
started ? Do you have access to the census part of Ancestry.com ? Do you
