Puzzled by the message that was posted about our fellow researcher Barbara Maybury I searched the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Unfortunately, I found the following:

Vehicle hits, kills woman in Bellevue

An 81-year-old woman died yesterday after she was struck by a vehicle in Bellevue, authorities said.

Barbara Maybury, of Bellevue, was struck about 10:25 a.m. at Lincoln and Meade avenues. She was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where she died at 2:30 p.m., said Deputy Coroner George Adamson of the Allegheny County coroner's office.

An autopsy will be conducted today, Adamson said.

The driver's name was not immediately released.

Homicide detectives from the Allegheny County police were investigating.
