Hi Piatt Researchers...

Doing some digging on William Piatt, b 1811 d 1900 who was married to Mary
Hoblizell and Mary Satterlee. He moved from the East Bend, KY area to
Cumberland Maryland in the 1860's and was at one time mayor.

In a local newspaper of 1866 there is a taxable person of interest named
Paul Piatt.

Anybody know anything about these folks? This William was a son of Robert
and Nancy (Jones) Piatt and Robert was a son of Daniel and Catherine
(Sherrad) PIatt. Major Daniel and Catherine had a son William as well, born
circa 1773 who I am also very interested in. I have no information on his
beyond his estimated birth year (1773) and death year (1834). Proof of
those years would also be appreciated. Would love to find out he died in
1840 or later!
