Im so excited! Someone else from my line has submitted a dna sample to be
tested for our project. I hope this will help figure out why my dad didnt
match! This person would be an uncle to my grandfather (they share a dad
but not a mom) so if he and my dad match, we know the gene drops somewhere
beyond Carl Edward Pyatt. If he matches the Pyatts but not my dad, that
will make my search a whole lot easier because most of the generation I
would need to test are still living.

I can hardly wait!

If any of you are Piatt/Pyatt/Peyatt/etc men and have not been tested,
please please please consider doing it (especially if you connect to the
West Virginia/Nicholas County VA branch. Its looking more and more like it
will take DNA to crack the brick wall of the William S and Mary Smith Pyatt.

The kits are reasonably priced (under $200 I believe) and the lab is
reputable and your information is secure. Besides, Laverne needs something
to do *grin*

Thanks,
Robin
