Quite by accident I ran across an obit for an Anna E Gorrell.

Anna was the daughter of Dr John White and wife Elizabeth Piatt and wife
(widow) of Alexander C Gorrell of Monroe Co, OH. Anna died in Beverly, OH
on her 81st birthday in 1952 (obit is from the Zanesville OH Times Signal,
Sept 14, 1952 and will be posted on www.piattresearchers.net as soon as I
can get to it)

Anna and Alexander Gorrell had two sons, Donald and Harold. These are names
in my Gorrell family also, but no known relation to my line. Anna had a
sister Nancy White Myers and a brother Leonard White, both of WV
(Sistersville and St Mary's respectively)

Now. Anna's mother was a daughter of John and Elizabeth Keezy Piatt of Ohio
Co, WV and Washington Co, OH. Anna's Brother Jacob had a son John who
married Mary Truax and is buried in Jackson County, WV. Anna's grandmother
was Nancy Coleman.

The Gorrell family holds it's annual reunion at Coleman Chapel in Jackson
County, WV.

My Great Grandmother Lucy (Luta) Timmons who married Carl Pyatt and lived in
Mason and Jackson Counties is a granddaughter of Mary Elizabeth White of
Hardy Co, WV whose father was from Warren County, NJ

So we've got Whites, Truax's, Piatts/Pyatts, and Gorrells interlaced in
Tyler Co WV and Monroe Co, OH and points south along the Ohio river to
Kentucky and north to Washington, PA

I think I finally proved I am my own grampa...

My husband has threatened to divorce me if I scream "HOW CAN THESE PEOPLE
NOT BE RELATED?????" one more time.

Ok thats the end of my rant. Thanks for listening, and if you have any help
