For Joleen,

We believe Harriet Piatt Goshen to be the daughter of Stephen Piatt and Mary McConnell who were married in Muskingum Co OH on 29 June 1813 by Joseph Tharp. But Stephen's origins, other than "b in VA" in census records are unproven. At that time "VA" could have been Augusta Co, Loudoun Co, Ohio Co or anywhere in between.
