Here is Jacob Piatt's Obit who was my Great Grandmother's (Rebecca Ann Piatt
Allen) brother. Interesting that by 1950 all his sisters were dead. (Sarah
J. Piatt, Hannah Piatt, Lucinda Piatt and Rebecca A. Piatt) Jacob was the
oldest child.

Jacob Piatt

WOODSFIELD--Jacob Piatt, retired farmer, died unexpectedly at the home of a
Nephew Harley Allen of Woodsfield Rt 4.

He was the son of John and Mary Truax Piatt.

Surviving are three brothers Albert of Lewisville Rt 2, Lorenzo of
Woodsfield Rt 1 and Charles of Woodsfield.

The body has been removed to the Schumacher Funeral Home in Woodsfield where
services will be held Wednesday Afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Rev J.V.A.
Trayler will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Carrick Cemetery.
